Morning all!

Just had to check in to tell my news - I've only gone and lost my voice!!! This has never happened to me before and all I can do is sqeak intermittently and/or whisper!!!

Still no reply from DU regarding Sophie's reservation - just glad we discovered this glitch sooner rather than later...

Have a great day, everyone. We're BBQ-ing later and the kids are off to the cinema to catch not one but two movies - Shrek 3rd followed swiftly by The Simpsons!

hummm.....you weren't a little too "loud" with the DU reservationist were you to find Sophie's reservation?? seriously tho - hope you're better soon and get your voice back!!

I didn't get to see either of those movies when they were playing here (DS went w/friends)....so will wait for DVD....

No real plans here today...DD may come over later - we might go see Bourne Ultimatum

I just told John today about this december, he and our ds and rose and me are going.

We fly down on our wedding anniversary.

Karen, I think you will be fine with your ressies, just stay on top of it.

I saw prices for passports today and found out we can apply at the mall my stores are in. Average time to get one is up to 4 months!

very cool...is he excited? what day is your anniversary? ours is Nov 28th...but we're going to celebrate with Ryan, Jen & Mark during the Xmas holidays....they really wanted to look into going to Maui (M&J have a place there they can stay)...so we did & we can't get anything less than $7G's....forget it! I still have 2 trips to Italy to pay for next summer & our 08 cruise....so we're back to Cabo...guess i should get that booked & paid for SOON!!!!

John isn't the exciteable type he tried to say no until I told him airfare is bought and paid for.

He will enjoy it. He and Adrian and I leave dec 8th and return on the 15th. We have a backstage tour planned, prob the one mom did that covers 3 parks. We will go to sea world and poss tampa's BUSCH gardens. I have never been to tampa, rose wants to go, so I think we'll do that.

That is all so far. I mentioned going out to dinner for our anniv on the 8th, rose suggested houlihans, I was thinking cali grill. Rose has a thing for fast food, I am just the opposite, if I go out I prefer it be something unique or special.

Rose's sil was supposed to come with her 3 kids but she backed out. We are staying in a house with a pool on her timeshare property. They have all the amenities of a resort, its really nice.

I may plan one more day out, that'll still give us 3 days to hang out, relax and poss enjoy what summer bay has to offer.

Jade, you've been awful quiet lately. You ok out there?

Karen, I hope you feel better soon and get that ressie sorted out.

All sorted, thanks! A computer hiccup had archived Sophie and Joe's booking so the DU ressie number had been lost - they've given them a new one and we're back in business. I probably over-reacted a tad as I'm not feeling 100% but I'm just glad we spotted the error so far in advance...

I wouldn't be surprised if there were more POTC movies as it seems to me they set up the possibility of spin-offs featuring Barbossa and other more minor members of the crew...

yeah - i heard that Orlando & Keira aren't IN for the next POTC - this was from my good friend's daughter who works at Disney Studios.....so if the rumor is going around there....then yep - it's most likely very believable...I keep asking Johnny's pilot's wife to get the lowdown - but her hubby doesn't talk to Johnny too much about that kind of stuff :-(

Hi guys. I'm home today with a Migraine. We were supposed to go and watch Wilson's race, but no go for me and Molly.

Brenda...My sister, Leeanna and I went to Scrap Expo on Friday and got the pictures ready for mom's China book (gift for her bday)

Did I tell you guys that we are planning a suprise 80th party for her?

It's all a Chinese theme, of course.

My Aunt and Uncle are coming up from LA. I'm so glad. We have about 30-40 coming so far. We are using a guest room at her retirement community. Should be a great way to showcase where she is living now. Lots of her friends from church will come that will be good so now they can stop in a visit anytime!!!

going to take another pill for the headache, wish me luck.

Britt approved both of them. She said she likes the medallion one better. Britt says the new one is cool too.

As far as big bro, those two are playing a very smart game. They have a great chance of winning.

Hello everybody! I just found this thread and wanted to add us to the list! We cruised for the first time last month and loved it so we booked another one while on board! Unfortunately we could not get the rooms we wanted ( we loved our deck 7 category 10 rooms!). To get cat. 10 we would have to be on deck 2. We weren't sure we would like that so we went with category 11 on deck 7. But now I'm not sure that is the right choice- will there be enough storage (we will have 1 adult and 2 kids in each room)? I looked at the DCL website and there are still a few category 10 rooms on deck 2- I think I might call our TA and see what the price difference would be. Which do you think would be better? We also might consider changing to Dec. '09 when those dates come out- but I hate to think about waiting that long!

Anyway, if we do sail in Dec. '08, it will be me ( Carol) and DH ( David) and the boys will be 16( Tucker),13( William),12 ( Samuel), and 10 ( Nathan).
