It probably will be pack during this time but I wouldn't say you would be crazy to be there plus the parks will be open til 1:00am .
wish I could afoord to be there but if you do just have a good time

The parks will open until 8:00 PM on New Years Day not 1:00 AM. It may be modearately busy but I doubt if it will be extremely busy. Arrive early and you may have the parks to yourself.
