New Year, New York, New Thermals!!?

Just booked 5 nights from 28th December to 2nd January at Hotel New York. Very nice CM gave me 35% annual pass discount on a lakeside room.

Amazing as I rang last week and was told that there were no rooms anywhere for 31st!!
Going with DD so we will have to plan meals (list prepared) taking into account cooked breakfasts (yum yum).
Will have to audit thermals to ensure we have enough to keep toasty warm.

Disney confirmation received, Hotels in Folkestone (going) and Asford (returning) booked ( to max Disney time!!), Eurotunnel sorted so dining planning can begin in earnest ( or more likely Annette's).

DD knows and is very excited. She really wants to go to Walt's for 1 meal.

For those of you there at the same time, I will be walking like Herr Flick ('allo 'allo fame) due to earlier broken ankle and be wearing a hat with 3 eyes like the toy story aliens (or maybe red scandinavian with flaps).

Now with HNY breakfasts and those eateries, I had better start my NY diet now !
