New year in Disney?!?!?

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how the crowds are around this time. My trip will be Dec 27, 06 to Jan 3, 07. I know that New year's eve will be bad anywhere, but how about the rest of the time. Thank you!

I was there last Christmas from the 25th to the 3rd of January. It was PACKED every day! We were there Christmas 03/New Years 04 and it wasn't as bad, but we swore we would NEVER do New Years Eve there again...it was worse than Times Square!

Sorry to burst your bubble...we were at MK...maybe other parks weren't as bad?

Pretty much as busy as it gets, especially on NYE. Plan on being at the parks a bit before they open, use FastPass (get them early!) for rides, and otherwise enjoy the live entertainment and festive atmosphere at the parks.

Try, try, try to change your dates at that time. We went just about that time, and when there is a 2 hour wait for It's a Small World, you know it's bad. Even lines out the door for the ladies' room. So crowded, you can't move. If I won a free trip at that time, I still wouldn't go.

Very frustrating to pay all that $$$, and basically become one of the pack. Unless you want to shell out lots of cash to see Christmas decorations, I'd reconsider, as you will become very frustrated.
