New year eve at Disney?

First of all awesome forums!

Some friends and I are going to Magic kingdom on 12/31/04. Anyone know what goes on and how early to get there?

I talked to someone at disney and they said that once the park is full they won't allow any more people in, not even re-entry. The person also said that the parking lot is usually full by 7:30am. Would love to get some more info.

I would plan on arriving as soon as possible and plan on staying put for the day. Wear layers or rent a locker. Once a park reaches capacity, the park is closed to in coming guests until guests leave.

On a related note, how early would one arrive at Epcot if they wanted to be guaranteed admission? (I know that Epcot has a chance of closing to capacity, but I don't know at what point in the day it does this)

You never can tell about closings. Last year we went to MGM and stayed the day. We have little ones so we were not planning the midnight thing. For all make sure you get PS if you would like to eat somewhere other than counter or you will most likely only be eating counter service all day. I like Marla's idea of getting there early, dressing in layers, and renting a locker. Have fun all.
