I have just finished the booking for the New Year. :yay: We will be staying at the Holiday Inn, four adults and a six year old - may go up to five adults.

I am so excited, but what I was wondering if does anywhere do normal meals on the 31st in the evening. If not what is the best value (cheapest), dd is not bothered about characters etc? Also, if we go out of the park to the village for tea is there any problem getting back in later?

We are also going in August, when dd and I will get annual passports, so I am busy trying to plan both and can't think of all questions at the moment so any advice will be gratefully received.

New Year at DLRP is great!...

If no reservations you will not be eating during the evening. At least not in a restaurant. We are not bothered about a special New Years eve meal so we didn't make reservations but snacked during the evening. Fun too.

You should have no problem returning for NY Eve

Enjoy...

Df & I were at DLRP last year between xmas & ny (went home on the 30th). It def' got busier, and colder as the days went on.

Common sense would tell you if you want something specific to eat then booking a meal would be best for nye. On a normal day you can come and go as you please howeve bear in mind that if it seems busy then there is a chance you wont be allowed back in due to capacity altough I think at DLRP that is very unlikely.
