Any new ponds, pools or patios in the picture?

Decks or gazebos?

Irrigation systems or landscape lighting?

Replacing that yucky fence?

Any garden railroads in the works? That would be SO cool....

Some of our deck boards are starting to show their age, and we had hoped to replace the entire thing with Trex (vinyl/wood composite), early this spring, BUT, it hasn't happened. We almost bought a house earlier this year, and still hope to move in the not-too-distant future, so a lot of "plans" are on hold.

What's your big project (or two or three!) for this year?

You're gonna MOVE??? How cool is that? Good luck finding the perfect place.

My goal this growing season is to get the deck moved off my garden, get rid of all this construction sand, bring is some nice loam, design my new beds and start moving stuff. I might be able to do that by july.

Yes, we "almost" moved. Put an offer in on a house (for MORE than the asking price!), and we still were out-bid! I was so bummed about it, I didn't wear eyeliner for three days!!! No, really, it would of been perfect!!! A great location, with a nice size lot big enough to build on a self-contained suite for my parents, and a pool! Oh well...we'll just keep searching.

No major gardening projects....though I now have 2 new areas to plant! We are finishing up our exterior renovations....and then I want to relax by the pool.....yeah, right. When pigs fly.....

Snowwark - Good luck with the house (and garden) hunting. Hope you find one with the suite for your parents all ready built!

As far as my yardening goes... Still gotta do winter cleanup. However, end of February we had the driveway ripped up and a drain put in. The drain should keep the water out of the garage now for good. We also had the two downspouts on that side of the house hooked right into the drain.

They should be returning this week to finish driveway with blacktop. Unfortunately, no fancy brickwork, no paving stones, no belgun (sp!) blocks, no cement... just blacktop. However, we had the part in front of the garage expanded a little more to allow more flexibility in parking and moving the cars around.
