New (Y)ears Eve. srry its kinda long :/

Ok, so My fam. was thinking about going to dis. for New Years, and y cousins who r 13, 4, and 3 would be coming down with their rents and So we were tryin to get booked for the Swan or the dolphin, but they were all booked for new years! I mean they arent THAT geat, lol. So yeah, but im hoping we can get a room at like the New Orleans French Quarters, b/c i went there once when my friend from IN came to visit. U think that'd be good? And also is anyone planning on going to Disney at New Years? Usually we go to Hollywood Studios for their fireworks. (and b/c my dad and uncle like that they serve beer there. lol) so yeah. Plz reply!

I'm not surprised the Swan/Dolphin is booked, exspecially for NewYears? I've never stayed at either, because its not a Disney owned hotel, but I've been there once, it was very elegant :]
Since you've only got half a year until NewYears there is a small chance you'll get what you REALLY REALLY want. People have to book their rooms (exspecially for holidays) before now. But, people always cancel, things happen. I'm sure you'll get a moderate resort :]

I'm willing to bet that part of the reason Swan and Dolphin are booked is because you can see the EPCOT fireworks without going to EPCOT. Well not exactly from the hotel but if you walk over to the Boardwalk you can really well. My family was in Disney for the millennium and we stayed at the Boardwalk. We watched the EPCOT fireworks from our balcony. It's something I will never forget, especially because my grandfather had died on the 24th and my grandma drove up (she lived in Clearwater at the time) to spend the night with us. Have a blast on New Years Eve!

Yeah, understood. Hopefully we'll be able to find a room, because I really dont want to just drive to disney and then just go back home. (We live in Tampa). Becasue that's just like, ruining the experience. lol. So yeah.
