New way to release pins?

I have a question. The past 3 years they have released pins they have done them one month at a time. Why is it all of a sudden are all the pins being released at once? Then all year theres none to collect? I'm not sure i like this way..... any comments?

What type of pins are you referring to? Like the stamps currently on Disney Store's website, where it has all the stamps up at one time, etc? Maybe they are doing more series per year this way instead of fewer series, but one from each series every month?

DLR started doing it this way this year, this is how WDW has been doing it. I don't like it, not at all.....I much prefer the once a month release.

Yes me too. I feel its so much better, im afraid the "fake pins" will come out so much faster now. I'm worried. Th old way gave you so much more to look forward to!

The scrappers will definitely be easier to come by.....they are already reporting scrappers of the candy corn pins on pinpics.....

One thing I would like to learn from veteran traders is this....When interested in a pin, either a cast member has one on a lanyard or a stranger, Daughter last trip on the cruise was approched by another child and wanted to trade a pin. I didn't see parents. luckly the pin he wanted was a trader, and the pin he wanted to trade was also a trader...no harm.

Now back to the question, what steps do you go through at the moment of trade to make a prediction as to the pins authenticity. I would suspect no one would quickly pinpic a pin, and I certainly don't want to offend anyone by questioning their pin.....what steps do you all have?
