I got this from an e-mail that Disney sent me. Sounds coool!

Beginning Dec. 1, clients will be able to skip photo-pickup lines throughout property thanks to Disney's PhotoPass, a new online service that allows them to view, share and order photographs of their Walt Disney World® experience. Photographers will be located in all four theme parks to take pictures of guests who will then receive a Disney's Photopass card with a unique 16-digit number they can use to access their photos online at www.DisneyPhotoPass.com. There is no limit to how many cards guests can collect, as photos can be consolidated on the web site. Guests can use one PhotoPass for their entire vacation or get a new PhotoPass each time they have a photo taken.

Although Disney's PhotoPass replaces the existing photo system at the Walt Disney World®. Resort, guests will still be able to view and buy vacation photos at Disney Photo Centers throughout property.

At DisneyPhotoPass.com, guests can also add decorative borders and other Disney-themed elements to their pictures. There is no charge for obtaining a PhotoPass, viewing or sharing photos online. The cost of ordering prints from DisneyPhotoPass.com is comparable to the cost of buying the same photo at a Disney Photo Center.

I can't wait to try this in April. :flower1: :flower:

I wonder if the character photos taken in Toontown will be included with this.

I wonder if they will include the 'ride' photos in this? It would be great not to have to drag those photos around with me all day !! I think this is a great idea - wonder how long your photos will be available on line after they are taken?

I can't wait to try this out in a few weeks. We never remember to look at the picture's until I pull the card out when I get home after vacation.

Disney's PhotoPass photographers are available in the following locations (subject to change):

Magic Kingdom – along Main Street U.S.A., Ariel's Grotto and Mickey's Toontown Fair

Epcot – near Spaceship Earth, near the Living Seas entrance and throughout World Showcase, and accompanying various characters at designated meet-and-greet locations in the Park

Disney-MGM Studios – along Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Al's Toy Barn, and Mickey Meet and Greet on Mickey Avenue

Disney's Animal Kingdom – outside the main entrance, the Oasis, Camp Minnie Mickey and the Character Landing

This is great, I was wondering how long before Disney would have a photo access on line.

Oh, and it doesn't stop there. According to Mouseplanet.com:

Starting in early February 2005, these additional products are available online:

Disney's PhotoMovie – a one-of-a-kind DVD that combines your favorite Disney vacation photos with video clips of Walt Disney World, the Disney characters and exclusive Disney music.

Disney's PhotoBook – a completely customized coffee-table book that preserves your favorite Disney photos in a unique Disney keepsake.

WOW! How neat is that? Thank you so much for posting this info. We always buy lots of pics but I hate trying to keep them from bending and getting them back home!!! Also, hate that wait, especially in AK to see the pics. Well hooray Disney!!
