I was just at Disneyworld.com and there is a new Planning DVD available to order!!!!

I ordered under the "new" banner for the "new" DVD and got the old one again last week. Hopefully they are finally sending the new ones!

I went on several days ago and also ordered the "new" DVD. It says it will contain tours of both WDW and DLR. It was under the banner of the new Million Dreams banner.

I ordered the new WDW Planning DVD on the same day I started this thread which was 9/28/06 and I still haven't received it. I know when I ordered it, it said it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery but it's been way past that time frame.

I'm just curious to hear from anyone who has ordered the DVD on or after the date I did, to see if you have received yours.

P.S. I have ordered it like 3 or 4 times again since then and still nothing.

I ordered ours just about the same time you did and haven't gotten it yet. I was so hoping to receive it before our trip but I'm thinking now that's not going to happen. Darn.

I received an email on 10/19 that said the following:

Thanks for ordering your FREE Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD. Good news! It’s almost ready to head your way. In the meantime, we wanted to send you a little Disney magic to get you started on your dream vacation. Ear it is (you’ll know what that means after you click). We hope you enjoy.

Even with this email, I thought I would have received the DVD by now. I know I'm being impatient, but I can't wait to get it. These DVD's are what get me through between WDW trips.

I also received the e-mail and am surprised its still not here. My kids and I are looking forward to it! I have a friend going the week after Thanksigivng and I was hoping it would be here in time for them to watch before they go. Looks like that might not be the case now.

I'm surprised that in this day and age they don't provide a way to download the movie and burn your own DVD.

I'm gonna order one to send the in-laws before our trip in March.

I'm making an assumption that everyone on the DIS and especially DVC members already know way more about planning a WDW vacation than what is on that DVD.

The DVD isn't really giving me information that I don't already know. I just really enjoy watching them. They keep me in the Disney spirit in between trips. When I need a Disney pick me up, I pop the DVD in and it cheers me up immediately. That's all.

It seems good news is coming. It appears that a few people on the Theme Parks and Attraction board have received the new DVD. I am so excited to get home and see if it's arrived. I ordered mine at the end of October so keeping my fingers crossed.

Hooray!!!!!! We got it!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been a cold raining day here in DE and this put a smile on all our faces as we pulled in for the evening! My kids and I sat and watched and got all excited about our upcoming trip. It is fun to see the World when you are not there and especially on days like this that are cold and rainy and with lots to do the day before T-day. It was a very relaxing way to end our day. My kids cheer when they see attractions and shows they really like or resorts we have stayed in and restaurants they really remember. Plus they pick things out that they would like to see and do next time by watching.

Hope everyone else gets theirs soon!!!
