Sir Richard is in Chicago to day and has a press conference 5pm UK time (11am CT) which is believed to be to announce VS are to return to Chicago on the route LHR to ORD.
This may give extra seats for those wanting to travel indirect to the mouse if they will codeshare a route from LHR-MCO to go against their non stop service from around the UK.
I also read over the weekend that VS will trial being towed to a starting area which is much nearer the active runways which they have calculated will have the engines running 10 mins less on each flight. Doesn't sound much but they reckon this is a tonne of fuel which doesn't burn and doesnt have to be carried, hence the need for less fuel over the whole flight. This will add up to a fair sum over a year i bet.
