New VIP Tour Pricing-Only 10% discount w/AP

Has anyone booked a VIP tour lately? I was told there is no more 45% discount with the AP. It is now only 10%. The new price is $100 + tax, park admission not included. The old price included park admission. I went ahead and booked the tours, because DD and I are really looking forward to doing the VIP tours. We are doing the IOA VIP tour on July 4th, and the US VIP tour on July 5th. With the AP discount, the first tour is $90 +tax. You get a $10 discount on the second tour, if you are doing both VIP tours. The total w/tax for both tours is $181.05 per person. There is also a 1 day/2park tour for $125 +tax. Each tour accommodates up to 12 guests.

I booked a tour of the Studios just a couple of weeks ago, and got the 45% AP discount then. Glad I booked when I did.

I bought a prefered annual pass about a week ago rather than a power apss becuase I want to do a VIP HHN tour and it would be worth it just for that.

Seems now it won't be worth it for the 10%

We booked our HHN VIP with our AP's and we only got a 10% discount last October. It was well worth it.

When did they change it?

I always thought one of the biggest perks was the 45% off! I am looking at my Passholder Program card holder (which I received April 11th because we renewed our passes then) and it states the 45% savings on VIP tours.

I did just call and was told it was only 10%. Maybe they lowered it because you now have to pay your own admission. I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) that the admission use to be included.

Yes the admission used to be included. It was explained to me that because admission is no longer included, the discount is only 10%. I just booked my VIP tours on 4/22. I think the changes took place very recently. There are a few changes with the VIP tours. The tours used to include up to 15 people. Now it is only 12 people. There is also other stuff included, such as a DVD, rain poncho, and a few other things. I'm really looking forward to doing the VIP tours, I can't wait!!

I don't remember the entry fee being included. this is news to me!

It looks like LOTS of things changed. I was planning on booking a tour on Memorial Day but now it's a little more than I expected!

The original price is cheaper now, though and it's great that they're offering a TWO park tour. The last one we took was at IOA so I was going to go for the USF this time, which wasn't as much of a pull for me without Shrek being open yet, but the two park tour sounds cool.

Back to the retool the old budget again!
