UPDATE:

Last night around 7:15pm I was getting the kids ready for bed and the phone rings. I look at the caller ID and see it is an unnamed 1-800 number, so I don't answer and continue with what I'm doing. An hour later I see I have a message, which was weird because 800 calls don't usually leave messages. It was someone from Disney Store online telling me they have gotten a shipment of the Park Vinyls and one was being held for me and to call back to confirm I wanted it. I called back just before 9pm, the person I spoke with said "Oh yes, it is all set, we just wanted your ok to charge your card again." I say ok and hang up feeling super in impressed with Disney for going out of their way for me.

Well this morning I get an email saying "Sorry! We are sold out and your order has been canceled!" I called back and was told that yes, they had a received a small amount they were already sold. So once again, my card has been refunded.

Honestly, I was fine that I didn't get one, but the fact that they called me to say they were in stock and then they were gone again was just sort of cruel. Not happy with Disney right now.

I just started collecting the vinymations and park starz is my first set. Of my first set my first vinyl is the "mystery chaser" . What is it? I cannot find an answer as to what this crescent moon man represents? Does anyone know the origin of the park starz vinylmation mystery item?

We just returned from the World today and saw lots of cases all over the resort. Maybe you can contact Merchandise Services to have them send you a case instead of the Disney Store.

The moon man chaser is named the Funmeister - he was the mascot of Pleasure Island.

I think the supply of these is coming and going. They were in abundance at some stores and then not at all in others. I also noticed that one of the stores they had them on Friday of last week barely had any the very next Sunday. It's a popular series so I can imagine that they are trying to restock as best as they can.

I've noticed the seesawing supplies too. I just wish they had trading boxes for these - I now have three doubles and still can't seem to get something new to me. *sigh* Actually, I'd really prefer for them not to be blind boxes/tins at all.

I have duplicates of the Horizons robot butler, the Blizzard Beach Ice Gator and Figment. No Small World boy yet (not even one)...

Trading boxes are coming. There is already one at D Street at DTD. I was able to trade off a double pirate I had for the butler. Kevin, check there once in a while they get the small world there quite a bit I have been told. And on a side note...I LOVE Funmeister(pleasure island logo) brought back a lot of memories.

Hooray!! That's wonderful news...and now I just need to get myself to D Street again with my three duplicates...
