I want to buy a new video camera for the trip... it needs to have a long battery, long record (either 8mm or DVD-preferred) and doens't break the bank!!

I'm also looking to buy a new camera. I've done some research and I think I want the JVC GR-D375U. But, I was hoping to get some feedback on this thread. We'll just have to wait and see!!

I just bought a JVC GZ-MG130U. I got it for when we go to WDW. I will also use it for other activities. I like it because it is small and easy for me to use. There are pro's and con's to all cameras. I looked for amost a year before I bought this. The only problem I see is this is a hard drive only but can store from 7 hours - 37 hours. I hope there is a place to upload the video in WDW.

My son just purchased a Sony DVD Handycam on Sunday 5/15, he's just learning how to operate it. Its lightweight, record time max is 60min on a DVD. The batteries are small timing is only 2 hrs.

For many of the Sony Handycam's you can order an extended battery from Sony.
