Just added on 100 points at the Grand Californian!

I'm pretty excited about this one. Made our first visit to DL last August and couldn't help but be impressed by the Grand Cal and its proximity to the parks. Also the weather is much more temperate than Florida in the summer and honestly I didn't think the crowds were all that bad for the summer months.

Now that the kids are getting older, I feel a lot more comfortable with the prospect of spending a June week at DL after school has ended rather than having them miss school days for vacations.

Oh, and we got the free 3-night cruise, too.

Congrats! We are thinking of joining when it opens up to everyone on 3/26. It will be our 1st DVC. It looks really beautiful. The weather and park proximity cannot be beat.

$107 net per point. Free 3-night DCL cruise with 100+ points. Dues are $3.82 per point.

I so want to add on at VGC too. It hit me the other day and I can't get it out of my mind! I guess I caught that addonitis everyone talks about! We just added on 250pts at BLT though, so I think it's gonna be a while before I can talk DH into more points! I did mention to him that we should buy into it next year...and he didn't say, "No."

You got a 3 night cruise on a 100 point add on? My guide said that I had to get 160 for the cruise.

We're in too! 125 points, 2 contracts, 60 & 65. My guide was talking so fast it all sounded gibberish with the money part and it doesn't jive so I'm still scratching my head, but I'm sure the paperwork will explain it all. Is there tax or something? Anyway. sooo glad this done! Developer Points already in my account and used for three nights Concierge Sept 6, 7 and 8.
