This new on-site Vacation Club at Disneyland Paris sounds great!
<blockquote>"Creating the atmosphere of a quaint French country village, the resort will be built in six distinct town home phases, each inspired by the rural residences of French Impressionist painters. The resort's first 44 town home phase is modeled after Monet's Giverny country home and gardens. In the heart of the village lies a charming Town Square with a flower shop and bakery, and an indoor pool reminiscent of a late 19th century crystal greenhouse." </blockquote>
There's just obe problem... It's not a Disney Vacation Club, it's a Marriott Vacation Club. Oh, well!

At least it will probably wind up as part of the DVC World Passport Collection.

Personally, I'd still opt to use points at the on-property resorts. You get the convenience and perks of being on-site and our points include park passes!

Actually, Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France at Disneyland Resort Paris is on property.

Admittedly, the Marriott is not as "on property" as the Disneyland Resort Paris hotels. You can walk from the hotels to the two theme parks, you have to take a shuttle from the Marriott to the parks.

But the advantage of staying at the Marriott is that all rooms are two-bedroom/two-bath, 1,130 square-foot townhouses with kitchens -- not dinky little hotel rooms.

and these are really top notch houses and it absolutely in the luxury category , but the extemly expensive buying costs and annual dues of 1200+ USD for a week every year did not seem the right choice for a young family :-))))
