New user cannot post with links

Need help!!! I am a new user and am trying to post a request to someone who makes cruise door magnet graphics. My request will not post. What am I doing wrong? Leave for the cruise 1/25/14 on the Fantasy. HELP! The graphics person requires a direct link/thumbnail in the post to make the request.

Are you talking about trying to post a picture? Because to do that you need to upload your picture to a site like Photobucket first.

Could you just type the link location as text on the request thread ?

You will need to have 10 posts before you can do so. Please join in some of the conversations here on the DIS and you should be able to get 10 posts pretty quickly. Please do not just post random things or those posts will be deleted.
