New (?) Use for LGMH

As I was laminating and labeling my LGMHs today, I came up with an idea. We will be renting a car, and I can NEVER find my rental car because I can't remember what I'm looking for, and even if I can, they all look alike.

So....I'm putting a LGMH on the back windshield of the van, labeled, "Our Van". That way I'll know it's OUR white van (or blue, or black, or whatever).

Now, I'll just need to remember what section I'm parked in...

You can make a little flag out of it as well and attach it to the antenea if it has one.

Just hole punch each ear and Ziptie or wirewrap it sideways .

Lime Green Mickey Head

Paint sample from Home Depot they are shaped like a Mickey head and the DIS color of choice is Lime Green

Does anyone laminate them? I think they would hold up better on my antenea if I do.

This might be a good idea for your luggage too. All those black suitcases on the carosel can start to look alike. We'd probably have to shrink it for a suit case, though.

I've also heard that the Disney stores sell LGMH antenna toppers. I haven't looked yet myself but I think there was a post about it around here somewhere!

The car antenna is a GREAT idea! MY van has the antenna in the windshield, so I never thought of that one!

I bought the self laminating sets at Target. They hold the LGMH perfectly. They even have sets with the plastic loop to make luggage tags, which is what I did. I stuck together 2 LGMHs, back to back, wrote a name on both sides, and laminated it, then added the plastic loop. Voila! Instant luggage tag! I made enough for all of our bags, including the ones we will carry into the parks.

I'm going to try to copy the big green MH that a PP provided (THANK YOU!) I think that would be WAY easier to seen in the back window of the van! I know all those rentals look alike, so anything you can do to distinguish one from the other has to be a big help!

I can't believe we leave in just TWO WEEKS!!!!

When you park..........take a picture of the sign for the section you are in with your digital camera or camera phone........like goofy row 10 or whatever.........then if you forget you can just scroll back through your pictures and there ya go you remember where you parked!

I agree we use Voice record and others even go as far as leaving a voice or E-mail message that they can retrieve.

The first ting I do when picking up a rental it take a picture of the tag with both my Cell and the Digital Cam so I have that.

Oh yes you ARE a Prince!!! What a GREAT idea! I will most definitely do this! And I always write down the aisle and row and section I park in, which helps alot.
