New Universal Commercial

They just had on Fox News a commercial for Universal in it they showed Shrek and Donkey and made fun of Disney, "Pixie Dust isn't working for you?"

I just put in a tape to record the news to try and get the commercial again then I'll encode it and upload it.

So keep yours eyes open for it.

I am glad the took it to Disney it's about time they started to get them back for the many, many, many times Disney has insulted Universal.

I liked seeing Shrek in it, it's was one of those "I want to go where no one can reach me" and the guy is being flown up on Dr. Doom then Shrek said "I want to go..." Then Donkey said "What about me? Why is it always Shrek? What about Donkey?"

It was a cool commercial.

My husband saw it this morning too and he said it was funny. I was too busy on the Disboards to pay attention!

They just had a new story on that Commerical on the local news.

They said it debuts today and will play nationally soon and will run until the end of Summer.

The only newer commercial with some ties to USF/IOA is the Mastercard one with the dad and the son on Hulk...

This year's USF commercials are a continuation of the "I wish" theme of last year, but this year they are adding "celebrities" such as Shrek and (believe it or not) the rock group KISS. (I want to se that one when it comes out!) Hmmm.. Gene Simmons on "Cat in the Hat"?....

it was on ABC Ch.7, during the news, so it must have been sometime between 5 and 7 pm.

Someone emailed me about this commercial and I've been dying to see it! LOL! I watch TV all the time and you'd think they'd run it all the time in Georgia!

Love that line about Pixie dust. My son could've written it!

I just saw the commercial...it was on HGTV. I'm kinda bumming today because 1year ago today was the first day of a fabulous Orlando vacation. And this is the first time in years that I haven't taken off during spring break. Seeing the commercial kinda made me feel better, but kinda made me feel worse. I can't wait to see it again though.

Well, it appears that the new ads are working. I just read this in the Orlando Sentinel:
