New TTA Spiel

As of this morning the TTA spiel has changed. Our former host has been replaced with a new host with a much mellower voice. Monsters Inc and Stitch's Great Escape now have mentions. Each attraction with a character tie-in has the character making a quick cameo. They also mention to "pardon our space dust" inside Space Mountain. Hopefully someone will put up a recording soon. If I had known it was going to change I would have myself. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

My DH and I always say that, we could be somewhere and out of the blue one of us wil say...."Mr. Morrow, Paging Mr. Tom Morrow...." We love that part.

Sorry guys, but that part is MIA. After I realized they had changed it I asked to go around again to confirm. Apparently the CMs have already heard displeasure from several guests about it's disappearance.

that was horrible - the remix or whatever the stopping to spin the arrows with no sound - I couldnt hear a dern thing!


and I'll bet we no longer have to "keep all forward facing tentacles inside the vehicle!"

OK...just watched the video!

It seems that TTA went from a quiet, relaxing little getaway to "blah blah blah STICH, blah blah SPEEDWAY, blah blah CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS, blah blah BUZZ AND MONSTERS INC.....

Almost like ADVERTISEMENT!!! Like we can't see and hear what is going on in TL on our own..now we have to hear all about it on TTA which used to be my peace and quiet away from the commotion of the parks.

Why oh why do they keep messing with things that were perfect to begin with? I mean, I am all for updating but changing something so "unique" for what???? The ride did not change so why does the narration have to????

BOOOOOOO!! I really hope they get enough complaints about this and change it back. Like a PP said, they need to stop trying to 'fix' what isn't broken and turn their attention to things that really DO need help.

they need to stop messing with the classics! Heaven help them if they change the Monorail spiel!! At least I have that on my Ipod though. Whenever I need a Disney fix, that's what I use.

OK... I just finished watching the rest of the video... and i couldnt agree more!!! Yuck!

I hate being the one to complain about everything.

But the voice makes it sound and feel like a tv commercial. I liked the booming futuristic tommorowlandy voice.

But the ride still has all the nice views, relaxing qualities and such that we loved about it in the first place. and they call it the peoplemover. I've always known it as the TTA but I know some of you guys are adamant about calling it the Peoplemover.

That kinda makes me want to kill people. I have enough commercials outside the parks, thanks. Whoever wrote the comment on the video "Completely lacked any sort of creativity or diversity. Humorless, forgettable, worthless, annoying, overly effeminate, repetitive tone of voice, just plain awful." was spot on

And whoever said it sounded like the Land voice, I think you're right.

Thank you! I just watched the new version again and I think I'm angrier (so angry I had to come post again). It's like they think that they only people who ride the peoplemover are those who just don't know what to do with themselves in Tomorrowland. "Well obviously if they're riding the TTA they don't know how awesome the Laugh Floor is! Let's try to get them to go to all the other rides, except maybe Carousel of Progress since that's really just a museum piece." Arg! Maybe I should make myself an MP3 of the old version and listen to it while I ride the new!
