New trip to plan

So it looks like our last minute Disney trip for next weekend may get canceled not sure yet but i was thinking if it does we def have to go this summer or for my DD 6th bday in Sept ( i was taken to disney for the first time on my 6th bday!) When do you guys think is better or is it all the same August (middle to late) or September 11-15? My dd will be back in school in september so she would have to miss 2 days. I guess this would be good bc it would give me some time to actually plan and we would be able to go for more than 1 day! Thanks for your help!

I think you should definitly wait till later to plan a trip. I celebrated my DD 7th birthday a month later b/c I didn't want to deal with a party 3 days before Christmas...she was fine...didn't even know the difference. Good luck in your decision.

for the last few years Disney has been offereing free dining for the "off season, aka: hurrican season"- Last year they offered the bounce back free dining for anyone that went last year and its rumored to be coming out in a week or two again. There is a thread dedicated to just this on the restaurants/ code section of Dis!

wow thanks so much! i am liking the idea of going later better now as it gives me more time to find out about deals such as this, save up more money and be able to do more than 1 park!
