New trip planning - six adults next May

I've already asked this about the DCR which we have discounted because we don't want to have to hire a car. We're six adults (all women) going to DLP next May. Current plan is to travel out late on Thurs (after work) and stay in Paris overnight then come to DLP on the RER early on Friday. Spend Fri and Sat in the parks and leave on Sunday for a bit of sightseeing in Paris before getting a lateish E/S home. Unlikely that we'll book a eurostar/disney package, we'll probably travel independently.

Alternatively we could travel Wed, have Thur/Fri in the parks and travel home on the Sat. This appeals to some of us because although its another day off work, its not a Saturday in DLP which we would perhaps prefer to avoid.

I have some questions/thoughts which I would very much appreciate your help and guidance with.

Which of the on-site non disney hotels is cheaper than the cheapest Disney hotel? Some of them are comparable price-wise I know but I don't know which ones.
What are said cheaper hotels like?
How long is the trip on the bus to the parks? Are any of them within walking distance?
Do the non disney hotels do the same park ticket/hotel package?
Would it be possible to sort out a package that DID NOT Include park tickets on our last day (we wouldn't use them)? How would I achieve this? Is there any cost benefit to booking hotel room only then buying separate park hopper tickets? (We'd do both parks both days)
When do you think prices for May 09 will be available?

Some good questions here. For a group that size, you may wish to look into the Marriott Vacation Club where there are villas that sleep 6-8 people for about £200 a night.

Or the Kyriad is the cheapest off site that offer buses (about a 10 min ride from either), next to the Holiday Inn (great quality), Dreamcastle and Explorers.

For really cheap there is the eTAP hotel in Val De Europe, 2 mins by train from DLP.

None of the non DLP hotels are really walkable (some people walk to the HI, Kyriad - but I think they are crazy).

Disney also do packages where you do not need a ticket for every day, but you are best to call them. You should be able to get prices from the end of October.

Also if you can, I would aim to go to the parks midweek rather than the weekend if you can.

Try the hotel Elyssee, its about £50 a night - oppooste the train station for Val d Europe (but you dont hear train noise), and you all the benefits of on site disney hotels including EMH, I really liked it there.

Thank you...I have two supplementary questions

Does anyone have either a link to or a pdf of the price grid for THIS year? I know the May prices aren't out yet but the grid for this year would help me. The link on the DLRP website doesn't work (or rather, it takes you somewhere else) and I can't get an ebrochure to download properly.

Also, how would I book/research the MVC? I can't find a proper website about it.... and it seems to be timeshare?
