Thursday 10 April

We had another 7 o’clock breakfast and then went to vacate our room. We set off for the Park and saw Bolanette87 () who was just going into breakfast (from her luxury suite, as I now know!). The Park didn’t open until 8.15 – aaargh! One-eighth of EMH wasted!
Still we had time to repeat our rides of Wednesday - Buzz X2, Peter Pan X 2, Pinocchio X 2, SM X 2 then Buzz again. We went to join the side queue and saw a couple we had seen there on Tuesday. It was starting to feel like a little private club. A man joined us and asked the CM if it was a secret passage and she laughed and said no. Once again we were allowed through early and off went my dtr. I was walking next to the man who said told me that in Japan the crowd would have been running very fast by now. As he said this we passed by Fort Comstock so I pointed to the ENORMOUS crowd waiting there and said “in one minute that rope will drop and they WILL be running very fast. He laughed and said “Oh it IS a secret passage after all” :) Off he went to queue behind dtr while I got FPs. We used the FPs at 10.30 after riding Phantom Manor then had goodbye rides on Indiana and POTC (ride somewhat spoilt by Lauren’s parents!) then went into Fantasyland where we saw Peter Pan

and dtr was thrilled to get Belle’s autograph.

I was chatting to a couple in the queue (about how orderly it was, actually – no pushing or shoving and people standing in a straight line and not approaching from the side!) Anyway they tipped me off that Aladdin and Jasmine had just come out in Agrabah Bazaar so we darted over there and sure enough they were there.

Dtr was chuffed - Belle and Jasmine were the 2 princesses she had missing from her collection. As we left the Park for our lunch we saw loads of characters near Main Street Station.

We had lunch at Café Mickey – another chance for autographs and photos – dtr was worried now that she had only a few pages left in her autograph book!

We went back into the Park just as the Character Express was stopping and dtr saw Mr Smee and Captain Hook (oh no, another 2 pages filled in)

We went to Colonel Hathi’s to hand over Flik and met Pyebibby. Dtr was on such a high  I couldn’t shut her up, so apologies to Pyebibby and family for your ears being assaulted like that.
This was the time of day when we had normally been resting so the queues were more than we were used to.

We decided to go to Studios and spend the last of our time there – on the way dtr saw Rollo who stole her pen and ran away with it. She had to chase him quite a way.

SSL14384Small.jpg

In the Studios we saw Donald Duck and had our first unsuccessful encounter with the Toon Train.

SSL14385Small.jpg

We went to see Stitch and he chatted to dtr, much to her delight, and then we had better luck with the Toon Train. Her book was so full up that Chicken Little had to write on the cover.

Dtr went on RnRC but TOT and Crush were both posting long queues so we went on the Flying Carpets instead and then finished off with a lesson in the Art of Animation. I normally just watch but this time I took part.

My drawing of Mickey makes him look like he has a bad case of mumps, I’m afraid.:rotfl:

It was time to leave so we bid a reluctant goodbye to the Studios

and went to get our luggage (including new Disney case) and went to the station to catch our TGV. We had quite a long wait at CDG so I got writing up my trip report and the time soon passed. Husband was waiting in the arrivals hall for us at Terminal 5 and within quarter of an hour we were home.

We’d had another exceptionally good trip and the minor irritations were just that – very minor in the big scheme of things. This was definitely the trip where we had the best time with the characters and the crowds were quieter than I have seen in the last 3 trips. The longest queue I saw in the Park was a 45 minute for BTM but most of the time it was only 25-30 mins. We also had some unexpected good things – the upgrade to lake view, the swim in HNY, the fireworks on 2 nights – that made it extra special too.
All together now…..it’s just like we dreamed it, as good as good can be…….

Great report - glad to see they covered that hussy Jasmine up so she didn't get a chill;)

Fantastic trippie :goodvibes

It was great hearing all about your trip :thumbsup2

OMG- DD and I have just read all your trip reports together - we are both so excited now!

Where did you see Jasmine and Aladdin? And what time? Jasmine is DD's absolute favourite princess, and it would make her year to get an autograph  .

She was at Agrabah Bazaar, just by Aladdin's Passage. She was due to be there for half an hour which was (I think) 11.30 until 12.00.

Fingers crossed you get to see her.

ahhhhh, your trippie makes mec want to go back again... luckily we're off tomorrow!:lmao:

A fab trip report. I have really enjoyed reading it. Lovely photos, thanks for sharing:thumbsup2

I've loved reading your report, thankyou! And your daughter is very lucky she gets you all to herself!

A fabulous trip report, I've really enjoyed reading everyone and your photographs are priceless.

Another great report, love the photos again.

Thanks for a great trippie

Your report really makes me want to go right now :goodvibes

Fantastic trip report with fab pictures. Glad you both had a brilliant time.:)

Thanks for your trippie and photos they are great.

You seem to have had a fabulous time and met loads of characters. I cant believe how empty the park looked in some of your photos.

Your DD is so brave going on all those thrill rides alone.

Finished, phew. Really enjoyed the read and your photo's are great. You had your days really well planned and seems that everything worked out for you.

Jasmine was well wrapped up, her Florida costume would have caused her hyperthermia over in Paris. I love the way they do the costumes to suit the climate.

Thanks for all your comments. The only trouble with writing a trip report.......makes you want to turn round and go straight back there. :)
