I finally worked up enough nerve to ride ToT on my last trip in Sept. after wimping out at the last minute for years. I ended up loving it! The problem is - now that they've changed it, I'm frightened again. If anyone knows exactly what the 5 different ride sequences are, can you please pm me with all the details. I think if I know what to expect, then I may not be so frightened. I know it helped the first time, knowing exactly when we would drop & how many times, etc. Don't worry about being a spoiler - I need to know it all in advance :)

Thank you! Even if you only have ridden 1 of the sequences, please let me know how it was, and hopefully, I can compile all 5 of them in my head.

I rode it last weekend and it didn't seem as intense as before. I can't remember the sequence other than we went up at first rather than down. It seemed like there were more drops in between but they were shorter. There also is a stop where you see the images of people on the wall, like the ones in the hall.

Anyone with more details, please post them on this thread (don't just PM threeboysmom). I'm real nervous about the changes too. I hate the drops, could tolerate it when it was only three drops, but got sick when it was multiple drops like a yoyo. So I would like to know what to expect also when DD and I go in March. She's a TOT fanatic and can't wait to ride it over and over so she can be sure to experience all five scenarios!

Currently, there is a new drop sequence program known as Tower4. The drop sequence isn't actually randomly generated. There are four pre-programmed drop profiles (three new ones, and a slightly modified version of the existing "Twice the Fright" profile), and each time a vehicle enters the drop shaft, the ride computer randomly selects one of the four profiles, so it's not like it's actually making up a new ride each time, there are just many to choose from, as opposed to the same one each
time. The new profiles are enhanced by some new audio, smells, and a few other animatronics and visual effects.

Ok, so I know the details one of the sequences - thanks Debbie! Anybody been on the other sequences and can tell me what they're like? I didn't want this post to spoil anything for the people here, that's why I requested pm'ing me with the details. Carolyn if I do get a pm, I'll forward a copy to you as well so you can be prepared :)

So, can anybody tell me exactly what the other 4 sequences are like?

Thanks!!

Actually there are 5 different sequences. The old one had a couple of hologram figures added to it. Over all the sequences are somewhat identical to the old one. 3 of them start up and the other 2 goes down. One of the sequences the one that I haven't gotten yet is a suprise ending. You think that it is over the video starts and then you shoot back up and do a drop and then it actually finishes. One of the sequences has a full 13 story drop, the rest of them have an max drop from what I can understand of about 10 stories.

btw the smell that you get on some of the drops is an electrical and rubber burning smell.

I finally rode this ride for the first time last week. What is the average actual drop? Does the ride really drop 10 stories or is it simulated to feel like your dropping that far? I thought it was just okay, after each drop I was hoping that was it.
