FOOD.

ALSO..carry a small "refillable" bottle for free-and FAST-water refills at the water fountains. If you have time, free water is available at many of the food and drink locales, but time is your most valuable asset for a one-day trip. :groom:

I was planning on bringing our Freestyle cup in May, but I got to thinking what a hassle the lockers are, particularly since my daughter and I will ride the "no loose items" rides over and over and over again. I think I'm going to get two small collapsible cups to stick in my waist sack so we can grab water when we need it, but still have the freedom of NOT needing to hit the lockers before every ride. I found some neat ones on Amazon for $5.99, which is well worth the cost considering the time it will save us!

FOOD.
There...got your attention, didn't I. ;)
If you're gonna eat in the park, I suggest either eating lunch early, or very late. Since the parks are scheduled to close at 10 on April 12th as of today, you may need to eat two meals in the parks. On a busy day-at the "normal" lunch and dinner times, just waiting to order, getting your food and choking it down can tie up an hour or more. A PRICEY hour! I'm not talking about a fancy-smancy, Mythos type sit down meal...just a simple burger order at Mel's was taking that long on our past trip.

We always eat lunch early for that very reason. We hope to be done with our day by dinner time. Usually by that time we are all pretty tired. That does remind me to research the food places and see what would best suit my family for that day. Thanks!!!

You can also use the stainless steel bottles that have a place to clip onto the cap. We use carabiners ro attach to a lanyard. The bottle can be put inside the shirt for rides and easily detached to drink from.

Also, freezing the bottle at a 45 degree angle filled about 1/3 of the way gives a nice solid block of ice that lasts for awhile to keep the water cold.
We prefer the Klean Kanteens with the insulated sleeves.
