hello everyone-

I'm very new to this and interested in the September 17,2017 5 night sail from San Diego to Baja Mexico. When is a good time to book to get the best deal? Or does anyone have any tips? My husband and I will be sailing for our fifth wedding anniversary and would like a veranda room. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Agreed. As the ship gets more full prices will not come down. Book as soon as you know you want to go.

But you will probably still be OK, as this is a time that schools are in session, so demand isn't as high as it would be in summer or Christmas. Still, now is the time!

September is rather "low" season for cruising -- the kids are back in school plus it falls into hurricane season. But since that is a special itinerary cruise, if you are certain you want to go then and locked into that specific date/itinerary, then I suggest booking now. PPs are correct that lowest fares are generally when itineraries are first released, and may increase after; that cruise has been available for booking since last spring. I'm not sure if fares have increased much. It's possible that a special discount offer may come along much closer to the cruise date (probably within 75 days), but maybe not, and it may or may not be less expensive than today.
