New to this whole thing!

Hi, all!
We are a Disney family for sure- this will be our 5th trip in 4 years, and we are already planning the 6th one! I have never done a discussion board before, but I have been here so many times, I figured it was time.

Our next trip (in November) will be to celebrate my husband's R & R.

We have 1 grown daughter and 2 boys, and the youngest one has autism. That is one of the greatest things about going to Disney for us. There he is just another really excited kid!

Looking forward to all the great info from other members.

You might want to make sure to look at the disAbilities board. Even thought you've been before I'm sure that they'll be glad to offer any suggestions to hepl enhance your son's enjoyment.

I am new too and so far I am addicted to it! From your name are you from Louisiana? If so, what part? I grew up in New Orleans all my life and am currently in N.Carolina, but New Orleans is home to me always!

I love Disney and have gone so many times I've lost count! This is a great board and I look forward to meeting new people too! Welcome again!!

I grew up in Metairie and Hammond. I will always consider Louisiana home. I miss the food alot (of course), but I also miss the accents! I have even convinced my Tennessee born and raised husband that he is a cajun by frequent exposure...

Thanks for the suggestion- I have been briefly but will definitely be checking it out more in-depth.
Are you heading to the Boardwalk Villas also? This will be our first stay at deluxe resort, and I am so excited! I actually wanted the Beach Club, but the PIN we had was only good for the Boardwalk...

That's so cool! I was born in Metairie, but grew up in New Orleans - the Lakeview area. It's nice to see other people from where I;m from on the board. You have fun too here and we'll see each other around!
