Hi everyone! I am new to the camping thread, but I am an active member of disboards :) DH & I started looking into camping at disney when we go next year in August for 2 weeks, since it is cheaper then staying at a value. Plus, we do enjoy camping and I am sure there is a lot of stuff for us to do :) So...my main concern is that we are flying from Canada and will need to bring a tent with us and a airmatress. I was thinking it may be easier to buy some pillows at walmart and blankets and maybe a cooler for ice. What'd ya think??

Also, should we rent a car? What about if it rains? What about valuables? I have soooo many questions :woohoo:

Thanks in advance!!!

If you don't have much luggage I would try to bring some supplies with you. If you bought everything you needed to camp it would cost you a small fortune.

Where abouts in Canada do you live? Would driving be an option? We drive every year from Goderich, Ontario. With hotels and gas it only costs about $500 entire trip. We drive an SUV. Usually stop two nights on the way down but have stopped one and did fine. We find it the most economical for our family of 4. And we have our vechicle if we want to go off site.
