New to the forum, planning my first trip with kids

I'm new here but not new to WDW. This (December 2018) will be my first trip with kids.

I I'm looking for all the information I can get.

My wife and I just returned from our first trip to Disney with our 3-year old. It was absolutely amazing! We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and were so impressed, bought a DVC interest in Kidani Village! Now we are waiting for our contract to settle and then will try to book again for this year, in October. My son keeps talking about the Kidani pool and the giraffes! Great family resort. I almost cried watching him sitting in front of the big outdoor movie screen like a big boy, smiling and laughing as he watched Big Hero 6 under he stars... amazing!
