ANOTHER QUESTION

I have a question were you about to finish Disney's Magic Kingdom in 1 day? We have 3 children going and not sure if we can finish it in 1 day or should take 2 days? We dont want to rush through things.

ALSO those who have been to Epcot would you recomemd it for a 4, 5 and 8yrs old?

We are trying to figure out which ones to do I know we are also going to do Animal Kingdon BUT we also want to see about Character Dinning but want to see which places we are going into then plan the other does anyone also hae suggestions on Character Dinning?

Thanks Robyn myasmum@hotmail.com

Welcome to the Canadian Boards!

First, sign up for www.mousesavers.com, with the emails, you will get some deals on ticket outlets.

As I usually buy thru Disney, can't comment on any of them, but I'm sure others will chime in!

We've used ticketmania.com and undercover.tourist. Also if you save airmiles, you can redeem airmiles for Disney passes.

welcome Myasmum. Oh dear, they're expensive. Not much discount to be found. I bought the 5 day "plus passes" at the Disney stores and they ended up being cheaper than anything I saw. Good luck. It feels like a lot but you won't come home feeling like it wasn't worth it!

Did you buy it at any Disney Store here in Canada? Or is it on special days??
Thanks

You can buy them at the Disney Store anytime - there is a chart/display thingy in the store with prices. You might want to check the other websites as there are definately deals. There are also quite a few options with the passes so at least you can take a look around online and determine which pass you need before you go in to buy.

Our Fav is at Crystal Palace! There's Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eyore too! The foods pretty good too!

We did the Princess at Norway last trip and I wasn't really impressed with the food selection.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace is divine!

I can honestly say I didn't pay too much attention to the characters at Norway - I was entralled by all the food at the buffet before the table service meal part!!!

Tickets- I use this link from the Official Ticket Centre - discounted Disney, Universal, Sea Wolrd, Kennedy Space Centre, etc...

Welcome to the friendliest spot on the DIS :thumbsup2

Character Dining is always a treat - in the parks you have to line up to see the characters but during a meal you get lots of provate one-on-one time with them. But a couple of things to consider....whichever meal you choose, your dd's and ds most likely won't eat much since they will be so busy looking for characters (so take them when they are good and hungry). I would go to one that is a buffet like Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's (at the Contemporary resort). The nice thing about dining with Princesses is that they "talk" to the kids. My girls dressed up in their princess attire and the Princesses made such a fuss over them! I like the breakfast in Norway with the Princesses (EPCOT) but we did not like lunch at Cinderella's Castle (over rated in my opinion).

You'll love - and the kids will love - whichever one you choose I am sure!

Welcome!!!

Not sure if it's your first trip but I really enjoyed Universal Studios. My DH convienced me to go on our first trip and I was surprised. It was very enjoyable and IOA is probably our favorite theme park especially for theming. I believe you can get a 7 day pases for $89US/per person.

That being said we are big Disney fans and have to go everytime we are in Florida! I have always bought my passes through a travel agent in Canada before we leave and also choose passes that never expire. Even though we book everything else ourselves we find sometimes we can get better rates on passes and hotel through Holiday House. By purchasing never expiring passes in 2001 we were able to go back to Universal and Disney in 2004 for just the price of hotels! We still have one day left that we are using in Dec.

We ate breakfast at CRT on both of our trips and if you can get a early ADR I would recommend it! It is great getting in the MK before the crowds, beable to eat at the castle, and meet all the princesses! We were finised just as the park opened an were able to walk on all the rides in Fanastyland with no waits! This was the highlight of our trip!

For Mickey Mouse I would recommend the Garden Grill over Chef Mickey's. We ate at Chef Mickey's once and found the service and food to be poor but the characters great. The Garden Grill characters are really great and we really enjoyed the atomsphere of the revolving restaurant when we done the ice cream social. They no longer offer the ice cream social:confused3 but do offer other character meals. We are going in Dec for lunch.

As other people said CP with winnie and friends is fablous. We had supper there the same day we had breakfast at CRT. It was a wonderful day!

I hope you have fun!:thumbsup2
