New to the board...Questions about Intimate Weddings!

Hi Everyone! I'm so happy I found this board! I'm brand new here and I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions. My boyfriend and I are planning a Disney Intimate wedding for either late 05 or early 06. We already know we want to get married in the Pavillion and are working on the other details.

One question I have is about music at the intimate wedding eception: Is the music for the first dance provided only by the musicians you have at the ceremony or can you have a CD played as well?

Also, how long does the cake reception usually last? If we have our reception dinner at one of the resort restaurants, will they take reservations and can we wear wedding attire?

Okay, I think that's enough questions for now!

I had an intimate vow renewal in May. We had a CD played for our first dance and the violinist knew the song and played along. It was really cool! Our cake reception lasted about an hour. And yes, you can wear your wedding attire to the resort restaurants. We had our dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I made the reservation directly with the restaurant and they also did personalized menus for us.

i know with the music you can bring your own cd if you would like.

about the lenght of cake/champagne reception i do not know as we haven't had our wedding yet!
