new to scrapbooking

I have just got started with scrapbooking and have gotten alot of great info from this site. I would like to try using fiber, but would like to know what I should use, and more importantly what I should refrain from using.

you can use any fiber or fabric, they are all photo safe and won't harm your pictures.

You can buy some fantastic fibers at scrapbooking shops, but they are quite expensive compared to normal craft shops and there is no difference in the fibers.

eg: check out these gorgeous fibers
Adornaments but they are $9!! I think that's incredibly expensive.
