New to ebay and have an important question!

I just made my first purchase on ebay. It was a "buy it now" and I paid with my paypal account. After the transaction was complete, it showed my account being deducted the amount and that it was transferred to the buyer. Then I checked my email and I have an email from ebay saying that I have comitted to buying this item from this buyer, yada yada yada. Then there's a box that says "pay now" and has all the payment instructions. I'm confused about this because I already paid through the paypal account and now my email is saying that I still have to pay. Did I get this email sometime between clicking "buy this item" and actually making the payment? Do they do this all the time. I'm confused. I don't want to be a bad buyer, but I don't want to end up paying twice. Can someone help shed some light on this for me?

The email you got is an automated email, every auction upon ending either by winning bid or buy it now will generate this. If you have already paid ignore the email.

Those e-mails are sent out automatically. You probably paid before it went to your e-mail. Because you already paid, you can just go ahead and delete it.

You should also get a paypal e-mail saying that you paid.

I've been ebaying a lot lately, and I've noticed that ebays emails are pretty slow- they sometimes shoe up HOURS after something has happened.
