So last year we took advantage of the free dining plan and went to Disney - me (33), ds (4) and my parents (late 50's).

We had SUCH a blast, talked to a lot of people and several owned a time share. On the last day, my parents took the tour and were sold - bought it immediately.

So, I've been on my mom about when we were going back and we've all decided we'd like to do October - I'd love to take my little boy to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. As their perk for buying last year, they got double points for the first year - so I think we're playing with around with about 400 points this year.

I think we've decided that we'd like to do 3 or 4 days at the parks and 3 - 4 day cruise. Does anyone have any suggestions?!?! Where do I even start on this? My mother has elected me the vacation planner - LOL - and I would like to get the most for our points if that makes sense!

TIA!

just so you know - the points for the cruise are per person - so at first glance a 4 day 120 point cruise looks good until you times that by 4 and end up needing 500 points unless you are all staying in the same room in that case you could need less (i don't know i haven't worked it all out)

where to stay depends on what kind of resort you like

we're buying into AK - love the resort - love the animals, the quietness and don't find it too far from MK but far enough if you know what i mean.

we also like Boardwalk but have heard it's all but impossible to get into unless you own there so don't know when we'll stay there.

good luck - if you do both i can't wait to read the trip report.
