My husband and I going to go backpacking around Europe next spring for our anniversary and thought we'd stop in to DLRP for a day or two. We were married at WDW so we thought it would be nice to be there on our actually anniversary day.... now for the questions...
How is the end of April of weather and crowds? We are thinking of going to the parks on a Thursday and Friday...our anniversary is Saturday and we know it will probably be busy, so we might just go to the California Grill or something for dinner and avoid the parks then take the Thalys to Brussels.
Are all weekends busy?
We have only stayed on property at WDW and am wondering if it's worth the extra $$ for DLRP or are the other hotels close enough. We were thinking of the Dream Castle (a nice change from the hostels we'll mostly be staying in while backpacking).
Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Disneyland Paris board :)

It looks like there may be some french schools still on holiday at the end of April next year, though I think the majority will have gone back. So it shouldn't be mad busy during the week. It's just those pesky weekends which are always busy these days!!!

The great thing about staying onsite at DLP is that all those hotels are within easy walking distance of the parks. But the Dream Castle hotel is only a 10 minute bus ride - which isn't really too different from some staying in some of the WDW resorts.

Hi!

Congrats on taking your 1st trip to DLP. Personally, I think staying in one of the Good Neighbor hotels is fine. I've stayed at both the Sequoia and the Holiday Inn, and I liked them both. I stayed at the Holiday Inn during my last two trips because it was much cheaper than staying at the Sequoia.

Have a great trip :)

Hi 4orm and welcome over here! :welcome:

How romantic to celebrate your wedding anniversary at Disney!
