Hello,

I usually visit the UK WDW boards as I have been visiting the world for over 20 years now but our first trip to DLP will be in January.
It will be me, my husband, our three year old and our one year old.
We will arrive at about 3pm on the first day and check in to the sequoia hotel and our second day is our park day, we will be leaving at park closing to catch our ferry.
I'd love some advise and suggestions on how to get the most out of our fleeting first vist, where to eat? How to make the most of the time we have?
Thank you in advance :)

What dates/days are you there? If you are visiting on a weekday after the school holidays are over then you shouldn't have a problem with crowds and will be able to do most of the park in a day. Weekends are busy though.

Again, depending on when you are there, you may be able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours when the Disneyland Park opens from 8 for on-site hotel guests. You could also see if the breakfast in the park option is available - especially if EMH isn't scheduled for your day.

With children that age I would concentrate on just enjoying the Disneyland Park and not bother with the Studios.

Arrange an evening meal at Cafe Mickey for the day you arrive.

If its a weekday in January that you're there then you honestly don't need to plan. It'll be sooo quiet you can just do what you want. So I just say wander and enjoy the differences/similarities to WDW. Don't miss POTC as its much better. :)

Food wise we loved the Inventions buffet in the Disneyland Hotel. We had lunch but in the evenings they have characters.
