New to Disneyland, when will reservations open for Dec 2016?

Planning on a trip to Disney over Christmas for my birthday in Dec 2016. Considering both Disneyworld and Disneyland, which I haven't been to for 40 years. When can I make reservations at the Grand Californian for Dec 2016?

Thank you. I tried the other day and it kept coming back that there was no availability, so I thought reservations weren't open yet. Must have been a gluitch in the system as I didn't have any issues this AM.
