I am taking my first disney trip ever and need help booking the following.
Need a dinner restaurant in Epcot??
Need a dinner restaurant in Magic Kingdom (or Dinner show)
Need dinner restaurant for Downtown Disney?

These are all for two adults. One adult has a shellfish and gluten allergy.

any ideas?

For MK, we prefer to leave the park for dinner. Our favorite in that area would be Ca Grill at the Contemporary; it's a short walk from the MK entrance. The in-park restaurants are very geared for children and as an adult only group, we prefer something more. Ca Grill has beautiful panoramic views of MK.

If you want a dinner show, we love Hoop de Doo; a boat ride from MK to Fort Wilderness. Dinner is chicken, ribs, potatoes, etc.

Epcot has an endless amount of choices. Our favorite casual dining for two would be Rose and Crown in UK. Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada is a fan favorite but we prefer Rose and Crown (both the food choices and the pub atmosphere). If you are beer drinkers and outgoing (would enjoy sharing a table with strangers) Biergarten in Germany is a lot of fun. There are several upscale choices in the Epcot resort area, a short walk from Epcot.

At DTD we enjoy Ragland Road for very casual and Portabello Yacht Club for something a bit more adult.

I also have a shellfish allergy. Have eaten at Coral Reef several times. It is one of DS's favorite restaurants. They take great care, as do all WDW restaurants. The atmosphere is unique and fun.

Otherwise, I'd suggest Chefs de France.

At MK Liberty Tree or something at Poly or Contemporary is convenient.

At DTD T-Rex and Rainforest are now on the dining plan. Otherwise Paradiso gets rave reviews from adults.

You do realize that when you ask someone "what is the best" or 'what is your favourite" you will get a list that sooner or later will encompass every choice that exists?

They are all poplular. Pick your favourite characters from those present at the various restaurants and go with that.

Our favorites are Epcot: LeCellier lunch, ( only 1 tableservice, dinner is 2), Biergarten for dinner, and Tutto Italia.

Magic Kingdom we have only done Cinderellas Castle for 2 TS, its nice to experience once.
But we do love Ohanas''s which is @ the Poly( a boat ride or monorail from Magic Kingdom) There is Kona which gets good reviews. Grand Floridian has very nice restraunts to choose, or Contemporary.

We have done both the Luau and the Hoop de du, we enjoyed both, but love the firefighter in the Luau, and the food more, so that gets my vote.

Downtown Disney I would pick Ragland Road just for the Gers Bread Pudding alone.

go to allearsnet.com and you can review the menu's and make a better decision for what you like to eat. Good Luck!!

Epcot....there are so many....but I would go with San Angel Inn....good for the whole family and nice atmosphere.

MK, I would go to Ohana or Kona at the Poly and then take the boat over to MK.

DTD....Raglan Road....hands down......

Have a great trip :thumbsup2

When we go-we are just two adults as well-mother and daughter.
We love Raglan Road at DTD-it is one of the few places we have eaten at every trip! It sometimes can get loud with the live band, but the food is very good.
We like Crystal Palace in MK. It is a buffet with Pooh and friends. We thought the characters wouldn't be as attentive with "just adults" but they were wonderful! We have seen chefs come out at every buffet and let guests know how each food has been prepared and the ingredients!
As for Epcot-there are jst too many choices. We have eaten at Garden Grill, Coral Reef, Nine Dragons, Norway and Canada. We prefer Norway, Garden Grill and Nine Dragons. Everyone will have different opinions..which makes the world go round. Plus it's easier to get ADRs when people like different things! :thumbsup2
Good luck and have a great trip
