We will be visiting DC for the 1st time June 2015. When do I need to make reservations? Thanks in advance.

If you know the day you want to visit, you could make your reservations anytime (rates for June 2015 are already out). Generally speaking, especially for summer months (June, July and August) prices won't get any better than they are at right now as peak months tend to be blacked out from any discounts.

We booked our August 2014 reservation wayyyy back in October 2013. As soon as we knew our vacation dates, we bought our tickets .
