Hi Everyone,

I am new to the DIS boards and wanted to thank you all for the great advice and information I have learned on here. I've really enjoyed reading your PJ's too. I am having a wishes wedding in June and I am so excited to finally have my Disney Wedding.
How many June Brides are there on here?

Thank You everyone!
I am so excited about my upcoming wedding in June. My fiance and I just started planning in March because we had so many other things to do. He lives in France and my daughter and I are moving there after the wedding. We didnt think a Disney wedding would even be possible so late in planning ,but Thank God it has worked out and my Planner has been wonderful to help us in such a short time. We are also planning a wedding in France in August so needless to say we have to stay right on budget.

Any suggestions on how to keep the floral budget low and still have a nice reception ? We are getting married at the WP and the reception is at the GF Whitehall room for pre-reception and the St. Augustine room for the reception.

Thank you and I enjoy reading all of your PJ's

Hi, welcome and congratulations!

Lurkyloo saved a load on her floral by not having centrepieces. We are hoping for SBP and have decided against any floral, although we may go for rose petals in the aisle as they look so nice on photos.

Keep us up to date with your plans :goodvibes

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for welcoming me to the boards. I just got back from another appointment today with the Disney florist to revise my budget. Does anyone have any suggestions for floral at the WP and reception at the GF? I'm having a small wishes wedding and really love the floral and decorations, but I really need to cut some things. I really dont like the chairs at the GF either. Has anyone done elaborate centerpieces without chair covers? I'm wondering if it will look bad.

If you want to send me your budget I can go over it. Be honest with your floral person. Is it Laura? She is fantastic and can help you make the cuts that you need to!

Hi JonetteA
I would so appreciate your help. I am down to the wire on getting back with my planner on the final BEO so any help would be much appreciated. I will be using an outside florist for my BM's, flower girl, and altar arrangement because Disney is so expensive. Its the rest of the things I'm not sure about yet. Can I email the BEO to you?
Thanks,
Elizabeth

Hi Love2B
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding ! Our wedding is on tuesday June 3rd. I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful at Epcot in the Italy pavillion. I love Epcot I could go there every week and have a good time.

Hi! Welcome! :wave2:

If you really don't like the chairs at the GF, I say spend the money on chair covers ($8, and they come with a sash) and then save in another area - like centerpieces. Disney can give you ideas for cheaper centerpieces, and there have been several threads on this board with alternative centerpiece ideas. Here's just one...

Hi Lurkyloo,

Thank you for the pictures of the different centerpieces that gives me a few more ideas. I was trying to do floral centerpieces with the silver candelabras ,but even with having a small wishes wedding the floral was so high I had to cut most everything out to try and stay on budget. I'm using a wonderful outside Florist for the BM bouquets, boutineers, corsages, and altar centerpiece. The problem is Disney wont let me rent the Candelabras if I dont use their floral. They did suggest that I could do 2 candelabras with flowers and two without, but the price is still high when you add in the rentals, chair covers, my bouquet etc.
I really love the candelabras their so elegant and I would really like to use them. My outside Florist doesn't have them. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I even thought about doing the candelabras without floral, but Im afraid it would look really bear. I wondered if maybe it would look ok with scattered rose petals around the base. I would love any suggestions you may have I have to give my final decision on monday and Im really concerned about how it will look.
Lurkyloo I have followed most of your advice and managed to keep my budget low THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
