Welcome to the Discommunity, and I hope you love OKW, it's a great resort. What accomodations will you have!

My best advice would be to slow down and enjoy. Our best days at WDW are our resort days. Resist the urge to go comando through the parks. Head over to the BW and have dinner at Flying Fish Cafe, one of our favorites followed by a stroll along the BW. Hop to other DVC Resorts to check them out. Just show the guard your room key and let him/her know that you are checking it out for a future visit. Also Disney keeps the pools a nice temp. so you will be able to enjoy them. Have a great trip. :cool1:

I agree with Daitcher. RELAX!!! You will not be able to do and see everything. But most of all....HAVE FUN!!!!

Happy vacationing!

We have a 1 bedroom.
I have stayed in studio, 1 bedroom and a three bedroom grand villa at OKW. All have been found to be larger than the normal resort rooms. We have a party of 4 going back again in April and will stay at OKW even though our home resort is Saratoga Springs. We find OKW to be more established and have adequate facilities. Have a fun time, as if anyone going to WDW can't. ;)

ENJOY! Sure wish we could be there now. Have our trip planned for November. We are owners at OKW and WE LOVE IT! We especially like to eat at Olivia's. (Try the breakfast potatoes...) We have stayed at almost every on-site hotel at WDW, and nothing comes close to the relaxed atmosphere we feel at OKW. The quiet pools are very refreshing after a busy day at the parks. The buses run regularly to all the parks, and if you want another relaxing thing to do, take the boat from Hospitality House down to DTD / Saratoga Springs. Welcome to the DIS! :goodvibes

My wife and I prefer OKW to SSR. The rooms are bigger and we like the atmosphere. Olivia's is a great place to start the day. When we go in April/May, we will be taking a Disney novice for his third visit in 20 years. He is looking forward to taking on all the rides with me, his new father-in-law. I am already looking at the plans for our October visit for the wine and food festival.Hope your trip in November is enjoyable, too. :cool1:

I just got back from four nights in a 1 BR at OKW. We loved our villa. It was so spacious and so nicely decorated. I was impressed with the quality of all of the items in the kitchen.

The veranda has a large table and four chairs so if the weather cooperates during your stay, you can eat out there. We really enjoyed having breakfast out on the veranda the first morning and lunch the second day. The rest of the trip it was a bit too cool to do that.

OKW has a very relaxed feel to it. It's a great place to come "home" to after a day in the parks. And soaking in the jacuzzi tub was a great way to relax after all the walking we did in the parks!

I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as we did.
