Hi

We have just booked the Wonder for the 3 nt cruise on 24th August 2006! :cool1: Yippee!! I am soooooo excited!! There will be myself, DH and DD who will be 5. We will be cruising with some wonderful CM friends.... :goodvibes

I have booked a Cat 8 (wanted a verandah but was advised that I may be nervous with a 5 year old) - currently we have reserved stateroom 5018 as I thought deck 5 looked nice. Should I change to deck 6 or 7? Help please!!!

Anyone stayed on 5018? I just thought it looked nice and central and isn't deck with long corridors of staterooms.....and we would be close to Oceaneers Club etc.

Thanks so much in advance....

PS Did I say how excited I am...... :Pinkbounc

Deck 5 is nice and you're close to the kids clubs.

I think your DD would have been fine with a verandah room. The door isn't easy to get open and they lock and I don't think a child can reach the lock.

Just in case you're still thinking about a verandah room.

Hope you have a great cruise and have fun planning. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hi there

We are also considering this date for a possible 3 day cruise. I am wondering about whether it will be ok to fly back to the UK on the day we disembark (the 27th) in the evening or should I leave it until the next day in case of possible delays/hurricanes etc. I was just wondering whether you were cruising at the end of your holiday and if so when you were flying back?

I am considering a cat 4 stateroom for the 5 of us but I am also a bit concerned about the verandah (my DDs will be 4,7 and 9) although I do love the idea of sitting out there in the morning.

I had a verhanda room with a 7 and 5 year old. No problem with them at all! There is plexiglass over the railing and it is pretty high up, so they would have to stand on something to get over it. I had the rule of keeping feet firmly planted on the ground at all times! Anyway, the verhanda room is sooooo worth it! I loved sitting out there watching the ocean. I would never get anything else, but I am a nature/scenery nut! Plus...i could go out there in the am before eveyone else was up and have some great peace and quiet!
Have a blast! :)

Can't help with your question but just wanted to say we've booked the same cruise (our first) so see you there!

We had a cat 8...and loved it....We were up on deck 7...and thought that location was real good. (7012)...We haven't had a verhanda...but don't really fell like we would use it enought to justify the added cost...I could be wrong...but for now I'll just let myself beleive that.
