New to board, need advice

Family and I ate planning our 10 year in a a row trip to Disney, we usually go in the Spring. This year trying to decide if to go down the day after Thanksgiving or wait two weeks. What is the weekend after Thanksgiving like?

I would wait until the week after Thanksgiving , if possible.... it is much quieter than Thanksgiving week. We love to travel at that time.

I'd wait the extra 2 weeks! You're still going to see high crowd levels immediately following the Thanksgiving holiday as people begin to wrap up their vacations, and the beginning of December is known for its low, low crowds.

i did thanksgiving about 5 yrs ago... went the friday before and fri, sat sund before was ok...mon of thanksgiving week started to crowd up, then by tues wed thanksgiving fri sat sund the parks were crazy....but by monday it eased up some, the tues was wonderful...hardly any lines

I went during Thanksgiving week in 2002. It was quiet until Thanksgiving "weekend". Friday, Saturday and Sunday were busy and crowded.

We usual go the 2nd week in December and it is less crowded than Thanksgiving weekend.

Whatever you decide, have a great vacation.

Welcome!! Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving are very busy. Starting Sunday you will see a noticeable improvement. If you can spend that following week there, you will have minimal crowds.
