We've never had AAA before but are getting it for our upcoming road trip.

Can you buy PAP and DAP's for a lower price through AAA?

Do you just go into your local AAA office or do it online or what?

Will AAA give you any perks like preferred seating for Aladdin anything else if you are NOT buying a disney package through them?

You won't find discounts on APs anywhere.

AAA may have tickets or package deals, but it often depends on your AAA location.

Thanks. We got a really good deal for AAA in the mail - including a second person in the family for free. We just filled it out and sent it in so it hasn't come yet.

However, I just looked on the AAA website for our area and it says it covers all of Oregon and quite a bit of Idaho. What does that mean? It's usable in CA if we are on a road trip - isn't it?

We got it for our road trip to CA and for the AAA hotel discounts traveling back and forth.

The hotel discounts have more than paid for the AAA fee but are we going to check into a hotel in CA and have them tell us our card isn't good because it's not from a CA AAA zone?

AAA discounts will help as you travel, for hotels, a few restuarants and some toursit locations.

But Disney tickets and packges have to be bought online or through an office not at the park ticket booths to get a AAA discount. So it depends on the discount, which varies, at the AAA offices. This is why the offers may vary depending on location. You can stop in a AAA as you travel to check on deals, but this may not be convinient. It is better to search or start a new thread on here for current AAA offers.

Lately I don't think there is any ticket deal for DLR. In the past when you bought tickets through them it included parking at the parks.

Got it about the disney tickets/packages. Thanks.

I booked several hotels for our future our road trip with AAA discounts. I just want to be sure that the AAA cards are not "locations specific". In other words, if I buy an Oregon/Idaho AAA ticket can I get all the benefits in any other state, including CA? When I show my OR/ID card in CA are they going to accept it?

As long as it says AAA on the card, you should be good to go.

To the OP: tickets for DL via AAA are less (and include parking).. you'll need to have your TA order them at least 14 days prior to arrival.. Ask for the "Passport Plus"

OP is getting APs.

OP, as Mal said AAA cards are good everywhere.

Thanks. I saw the "Passport Plus" tickets on the AAA site. But they are not the same as the annual passes at DL. Very different if you read the fine print. I'd hate for someone to buy one thinking they are an AP and then find out differently.

I'm from CA and am using my AAA card in FL for my WDW trip for discounts so, yes you can use your AAA discount anywhere it is accepted.
