New tickets when adding days?

This may sound silly, but we really want the pretty blue 60th anniversary plastic 3 day passes opposed to paper so we were going to forego online discounted tickets to get them from local store, but we also want to add days.

So my question is for anyone who has added days, did they just add them to you existing ticket through the computer or did you have to exchange your ticket? (thus rendering my shenanigans moot)

Where are you getting tickets from? You should be able to get 5 day souvenir tickets.

All of the stores around here only sell 2 or 3 day souvenir tickets, and 3 days are pretty hard to find. Even the actual disney store.

Ah, ours we're part of our package. I wonder if the ones they mail you from Disney's site are the souvenir tickets. Or Get Away Today has 'hard stock tickets', they usually say if they're souvenir ones so those may not work.
