TV ad running on yesterday said for a short time only, Florida residents can get a four day pass for $125. That's the same as what a three day pass would cost us.

I would be willing to bet it's a 1 park a day pass and you have to pay extra to do park hopper. I know the 3 day was like that. It was $120 and $20 to upgrade to park hop. Still a great deal though for visitors who only go for a few days. I wonder how many you can buy? Like if you had some relatives from out of state can you purchase for them under your residence.

You are right, they are not hoppers. You have to buy them by 2-29-08 and they are good for 6 months after the first use. I don't think they can be used for non residents but am not sure.

That indeed is not a bad deal. You can buy the no expiration option. For a family of 4 that adds $100 to the price, but for us, a family of 4 that puts our average cost at 36.25/day. I can live with that. We have no use for the park hopper option as we have trouble enough just visiting one park per day much less two parks. How do folks do that?

I'll be buying mine this evening. Thanks for the heads up CaptKen.

Does anyone know: After purchasing or using those 3 day passes, how long you have to upgrade to an annual pass?

I was told 30 days after it expires. Same is true with annual and seasonal passes.

I've never done the park hopper either. If I can manage to get through one park in a day without collapsing, I sure ain't heading for another. I'll leave the park hopping to the younger ones with more energy. Some of ya'll go at this like an olympic event.

Lol @ Olympic event. I get a kick out of the soccer mom/overachievers that plan out every step on their vacation.... They have to be here at such and such a time, there at this time, gotta do this by then.... that's no vacation

I over planned our last trip....for instance, on a Monday I planned to be at the parks for opening...and make sure we made it to the dinner ressie for 8....at least we made it to the dinner ressies!!!

We quit over planning our trips a few trips back. Now we just get up when we want and do what sounds good.:thumbsup2

Amen to that Rog!!! I quit trying to get everyone moving in the direction of the park at the opening hours years ago. I usually wake up about that time and think of the poor guy who did make it and is now fighting the crowd trying to get through the gate. We go when we want and we leave when we want. If there's something we don't get to see, oh well!!!!! Ain't like its going anywhere in the next couple of years.

When you buy the Play 3 Days Florida Resident pass, you have 6 months to upgrade it to a Seasonal pass. We do this every year.

I'm not sure if the Play 4 Days pass can be upgraded to a Seasonal pass or not -- but I'll find out! :)

Rhonda,
Do you just update them at the ticket center or can you do that before you get to the park?
Thanks~

You can upgrade them at the Guest Services window at any of the parks. :)

Just curious can we buy this 4 day pass for a trip in Dec. of this year? I know it expires 6 months after the 1st use but how about buying it and not using it at a much later date? :confused3 If you can I'm going to go ahead and buy our tickets for our Christmas trip.

On my solo trips, (especially Mousefest), I park hop a lot, but I'm not a commando do it all type any more. As an example, I might go to AK and ride Everest, then a group of us has a lunch over at Boardwalk, then go into Studios and ride ToT together, then stroll through the Epcot resorts again and stop for ice cream, then over to Epcot for Soarin' and a group picture with Figment, then a group dinner at Ohana, then go the beach for Wishes, then finish off the night at Adventurer's Club. But then I'm not a Floridian, so it's the regular Annual Pass for me.
