hi everyone,
so glad to finally put up a new ticker
going 11th to 23rd december and staying at our timeshare in Mystic Dunes, its been a while since i have been offsite and no doubt will be picking your brains over driving in the US, I'm terrified to be honest, and Universal and Seaworld as it feels like forever since i set foot off property. oh yes and the best restaurants non-disney
Cara has decided no way no how is she coming to orlando so its going to be me, my two boys who will be 9 and 6 (nearly 7) and my lovely OH Colin, whose idea this was in the first place, maybe he did catch the bug in august after all
, so just back in time for Xmas and hoping to miss the worst of the crowds. going to get flextickets and 7 day disney passes so we are free to explore, and try to enjoy eating offsite for a change, apart from Chef Mickeys for the boys. all the xmas festivities high on the agenda, like the candlelight processional which i have never seen and MVMCP, and the boys are very excited about seeing seaworld and universal as they dont remember either, me too actually
,
ah its so nice to be in planning mode again! let the brain picking commence

) is a doddle - takes more or less the drive to the hotel to get used to it then it's a breeze. Cars being automatic definitely helps so you're not always bumping your hand into the door trying to change gear

I think the driving thing is more about the actual car, the road system is quite friendly out there. I am just used to driving manual, and i know the handbrake is more likely to be a pedal and i remember giving it a go years ago, and doing little kangaroo jumps while i adjusted to not using a clutch for control etc
