New things announced today for DL 50th

Magic kingdom-will be getting a new castle show.
Epcot- of course soaring
MGM-of course stunt show
AK-free moving anitromic(spelling is wrong) calle di believe lucky, and of course everest later next year.

The celebration runs starting May 5 2005 and runs for 18 months. This was the big announcement today.

Why does WDW get all this stuff for DL's b-day?

When we were on the Backlot tour last fall. The guide was mentioning that many of the new things are in preparation for the 50th bday of Disneyland. He mentioned there might be new parades too-- wouldn't that be nice. I love the parades and would like to see new ones. We are planning on going winter and fall 2005. These new attractions will make it easier to sell the fall trip to DH!!

YES! New Parades and bring back the old Illuminations... How about the Main Street Electrical Parade, oh the memories.

Each park gets some stuff. For DL it's the ToT, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, getting the castle made up with jewels, the west coast cruise, etc.

DW is getting Cinderellabration - a show imported from TDL, Soarin, Lights, motors, action stunt show.
