Thank you for jumping in. That's a good point about the signs for Xentury City having been around for many years. Aside from the Gaylord Palms resort and a few chain stores like the Publix and the Walgreen's at International Drive and Highway 192, there hasn't been much built at Xentury City.
According to Xentury City's
master development plan, there are several large parcels available near the Gaylord Palms. Even it they were combined, these parcels would be on the small side for a true Disney-style theme park, parking, and support structures. But there's plenty of land for a $1 billion mixed-use tourist development.
Based on walter's report that an architect told him that he was working on something "similar to Epcot" near Celebration, it was purely speculation on my part that this architect's work could involve undeveloped land at Xentury City.
